Work is in progress to move our website to the latest release of Harris catalogue (2010 release) … stay tuned ! ;-)
Cluster of the day
I have implemented a simple routines that display a link to the “cluster of the day”; namely, we scan all the galactic globular cluster system, starting from the galactic center and moving outward, one cluster a day. Just for fun… hope you’ll like it! ;-)
New layout
Moved to a new three column layout. Hope you’ll enjoy it! ;-)
New mirror of gclusters
We have now a new mirror of the Galactic Globular Clusters Database, running in the web space of the Rome Astronomical Observatory. Enjoy (and please give feedback for any problem you may find while browsing the pages) ! ;-)
3D Galaxy Map
A map of the Galaxy that you can fully explore and zoom in, with your mouse! It uses data from Globular Clusters Database.
All new links are stored in http://groups.diigo.com/group/gclusters
Link repository : "gclusters" Diigo group
Our new group on Diigo, devoted to collect link about globular clusters. Anybody can subscribe and post links ;-)
Our new "preprints group" at citeulike
We are experimenting a new way to collect globular clusters preprint, via a group @ citeulike. This is the URL of the website. Feel free to subscribe if you’re on this network ;-)
New website for gclusters
For technical reason, the old website for gclusters is no more reachable.
I just managed to set up a new website at the following address:
http://gclusters.altervista.org
Please feel free to report to me any problem you may find using the new website (you can reach my email via the link below).
Thanks a lot in advance!
